Sam Schmidt
While majoring in Agricultural Systems Technology at Iowa State University, Sam held an internship with Ag Leader Technology. His role in tech support exposed Sam to GPS control systems. Following graduation, he spent 5 years in a role testing competitive technology for John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group. After John Deere, he worked for the sprayer equipment startup company, MaggrowTec, and it was during this time that Sam discovered the benefits of using GPS technology on turf. Sam founded Above Par Tech in 2018 starting with aftermarket GPS installations throughout the Midwest. Since 2018 the product lines have expanded along with the geographical area in which you can find Above Par Tech’s products.
Zach Bartlett
Zach graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Agricultural Engineering and quickly dove into his new role with Ag Leader Technology. His primary focus was testing software and hardware of the displays and control systems. Eventually, he served as a product lead for the advanced development team working on new and emerging products for Ag Leader Technology. He relocated to Madison, Wisconsin after marrying his wife, Erin. During this time, he worked for HED, and served as product lead for their telematics product line. Zach joined Above Par Tech in 2021 and found it to be a perfect alignment with his deep passion for technology. His primary responsibility at APT is managing the after-market offerings, managing customer relations in Wisconsin & Illinois, as well as electrical sub-assemblies for the whole product portfolio. Outside of APT, he spends time golfing, reading, and finding the best local Friday fish-fry in Wisconsin.
Nathan Tremel
Nathan graduated from Iowa State University with an Ag Systems Tech degree. He has six years of experience as a mechanic in the agriculture field along with three years of sales and GPS knowledge. Nathan joined Above Par Tech in 2023 where he assists on the manufacturing side. Outside of work he enjoys tinkering and riding anything with wheels and an engine.
Brooklyn Schmidt
With over 10 years of experience in the marketing and events industry, Brooklyn serves as Above Par Tech’s Marketing Manager. Her role requires staying up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and bringing creative ideas to life through the website and our customer resources. Outside of the Above Par walls, you can find her spending time with family, enjoying the outdoors and trying a local cup of coffee.
